MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Hello everyone and welcome to the Delta Omega Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon at Illinois State University! I am so grateful for all of our members for not just allowing me to be in the position of President for this prestigious organization, but also the opportunity to continue to improve the Delta Omega chapter to its fullest for 2026.
I joined this chapter in the fall of 2024 as a transfer student, and I was looking for an outlet to find a like-minded community that could help me grow professionally with skills I could carry beyond my college career. PSE is a place that is tailored for growth, but it offers much more than just that. When I transferred, I never initially thought about getting involved; however, I soon realized that the specialized teaching PSE provides cannot be obtained in the classroom. PSE has had countless members accomplish great achievements throughout their careers. We are always looking forward to bettering our members in any way we can. Our members have grown in areas such as public speaking, interview skills, and sales skills. Additionally, our
members have access to a vast networking community made up of various national partner companies that actively look to hire our members. This tight-knit community is both supportive and fun. As we continue to grow, my goal is to further strengthen this aspect even more.
My biggest focus this year is to work closely with every member, tailoring their needs and skill sets to improve not only the chapter, but also themselves as professional individuals. One of my favorite things about our chapter is that we have over 75 members from different backgrounds. Everyone brings their own unique skill sets and experiences that we can learn from. Our greatest resource is these diverse backgrounds, which create solutions and generate new
ideas, allowing everyone to be included and share in the chapter’s success. This diversity also improves communication and trust between our Executive Board and our members, resulting in an efficient, smoothly run organization.
I am so thankful and appreciative for the opportunities this organization has offered me, and I am excited to give those same opportunities and more to the future of this organization. I am extremely excited to not only lead all of our members into a great full year of success and obtained goals. NATIONAL WINNERS
Illinois State was named the Top Silver Chapter in the nation in 2017. In 2018, the Delta Omega chapter was named the second place Top Silver Chapter in the nation. In 2024, Delta Omega was #1 for Top Social Media Strategy, Top Silver Finalist, Top Recruitment Process Finalist, and Top Professional Development Finalist. In 2025, Delta Omega was #2 for Top Social Media Strategy and Top Gold Finalist.

PSE members have exclusive access to corporate partners looking for the top talent. Through multiple networking opportunities, locally and nationally, students will put themselves in front of their peers and create relationships that can lead to full time employment.
